Cade Alexander Winters
August 7, 2015 – April 29, 2020
Johnsburg, Illinois | Age 4
Cade Alexander Winters was a beautiful little boy with a heart of gold. He had a spirit that could light up the room with his laugh that was contagious. His giggles and roars of laughter instantly melted your heart and made you want to be able to put them in a little box to save forever. He, like many boys his age, loved cars and trucks. His favorites were garbage trucks, fire trucks, police cars, mail trucks, and school buses. He loved being outdoors playing “buddies” with his brother, getting full of sand or soaking wet playing in water or swimming. He absolutely loved riding his gator all over his yard and neighborhood, usually with his sunglasses on, a drink in the cup holder and toys, balls, and nerf guns in tow in the back. His personality was infectious. He was silly and sassy, outgoing and bossy, yet so sweet and tender with the most loving and caring soul. He fought hard for almost 2 years, half of his childhood all he knew was cancer and treatment, schedules and medications. Yet despite all of that, despite how he had to have felt on the inside, his spirit shined through and his laughter continued. His beautiful spirit and soul touched the hearts of so many people, many who never even knew or met him. Those that knew him well were blessed and will never, ever forget him, for sweet Cade had a way of making everyone he met fall in love with him, whether it was his sass or his sweetness, your heart just made an instant spot that he fit in to and will stay forever. He was brave and courageous and he was loved so much. He felt that love up to his very last breath and he will be missed immensely by all.
Cade was survived by his parents, Chris and Candace Winters, and his brother Rylan Winters.
